We provide 1-1 counselling to serving personal, veterans and their families, free at the point of delivery. Our counsellors are BACP registered and have experience working with a variety of issues including bereavement and loss, anxiety and low mood and trauma of all kinds, from childhood abuse to PTSD. We also have have experience working with post addiction recovery and suicidal ideation. All sessions are confidential, and the amount of help is not session limited, so there is no rush to ‘fix’ things. Egg Banjos provides a half day training module for veterans, employers and community organisations to discuss the specific nature of mental ill health in the veteran’s community. We cover topics such as; why so few veteran’s seek help for mental health issues, understanding the stigma behind admitting perceived weakness in British Forces culture and recognising signs and symptoms of a veteran asking for help without actually asking. This training module runs monthly in Liverpool and can be brought to your organisation or workplace.

VHQ provide services to veterans such as help with debt, family support, jobs and housing and even help within the criminal justice system. They are on Breck Road in Liverpool and it is where we provide our services in Liverpool. You can find out more about them here.
Tom Harrison House is a veteran’s addiction recovery centre also based in Liverpool. THH is a specialist facility providing an addiction recovery programme over 12 weeks exclusively to veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families. You can find out more about then here.
